Information we collect
When you place a guest order, request a quote, contact us or subscribe for updates, we may collect your name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp number, delivery address, market, selected products, quantities and project details. Our hosting and security providers may also process limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type and request logs.
Store analytics
We use first-party, pseudonymous identifiers in browser storage to understand visits, product views, product-link clicks, cart additions, checkout starts and completed order forms. We may derive an approximate country, region or city from a request IP address, but do not store the complete IP address in our analytics table. If you voluntarily submit your email through our offer form, we may associate that subscriber record with the pseudonymous visitor identifier already used in the same browser so we can understand the buyer journey and provide relevant follow-up. Browser “Do Not Track” signals are respected for these store analytics.
How we use it
We use this information to answer inquiries, prepare quotations, process and support orders, arrange production and delivery, prevent abuse, improve buyer support and send updates you requested. We use information as needed to provide a requested service, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests or act on your consent.
Payments and service providers
Payments may be completed through PayPal or by bank transfer using instructions issued for a specific order. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy notices; Knot & Pixels does not receive full PayPal account or bank credentials. We may also use website hosting, email delivery, Zoho Mail, WhatsApp or Meta communication tools, and production or logistics partners where needed to provide the requested service.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share only the information reasonably required to operate the website, communicate with you, process payment, evaluate customization, fulfill an order or comply with law.
Storage and retention
The website uses necessary browser storage for functions such as the shopping cart, pseudonymous store analytics and dismissed notices. Inquiry records are generally kept while a project is active and for a reasonable follow-up period. Order, invoice and transaction records are retained for the periods required by applicable accounting, tax and legal obligations. Subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, or unsubscribe from marketing updates using the link in our emails. Some records may need to be retained where required by law. Contact mary@knotandpixels.com to make a request.
International processing
Because we serve international buyers and work with service providers in different countries, information may be processed outside your country. We take reasonable steps to limit access and use providers appropriate to the service.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
